Registration is now open for the 2022 season!  Boys registration closes on September 26th!  Girls' registration closes October 17th. 
 

Welcome to Omaha Roadrunner Basketball!  We are excited to have you be a part of the Roadrunner Family!  Our team of coaches will be leading young men and women in the sport of basketball with a focus on “Running the narrow road".

Basketball Basics Program 2022-2023

  • Registration fees are $45

  • Free shirt included!

  • Monday Group: 5:45-6:45 at Coram Deo Church.

  • Thursday Group: 5:45-6:45 at Southwest Church of Christ.

A new opportunity for families not ready to commit to an entire season, but who want to learn the game of basketball 

Fundamentals like shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense, followed by a scrimmage to learn the rules of basketball!

Will run from November to early January.

Clinics 2023

  • These clinics will feature concentrated instructions designed to pack a maximum amount of coaching in a short time. The concept is that focused, supervised training is worth more than months of unsupervised practice.

  • Information will come as we near spring 2023.  Check back then!

Grade School - Boys or Girls

2022-2023 Information

  • Registration fees are $199

  • FREE Jersey that can be used for 2-3 years.

  • Each family is responsible for soliciting a $100 sponsorship from a company or donor.  Only one sponsorship per family (not per player).  Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit we have the ability to lower registration costs through this process!  We have a sponsorship document that makes this quick and painless!

Boys & Girls, age 8 - 14 can participate in our grade school basketball program.  Boys will compete in the Pella league, Girls will compete in the Parochial Athletic League (PAL).  At the grade school level, our teams are focused on developing their fundamental skills, and learning how to play as a team.  The season will run from October to the end of February. 

Practice Information

Boys Elementary:

  • Mondays 6:30-8:30 Hitchock Elementary School

  • Thursdays 6:30-8:30 Disney Elementary School

  • Depending on numbers, we may be able to have Elementary practice with JH.  Please review the JH times below and let us know if there may be an issue with practicing at that time.

Boys JH:

  • Mondays 6:00 - 8:00 Coram Deo Church.

  • Thursdays 3:30 - 5 Hoffman Hoops Academy.

Girls:

  • Mondays & Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 Southwest Church of Christ

Travel Information

The grade school boys traditionally will attend the NCHC regionals for two nights.  In 2023 the regional tournament will be in Lawrance Kansas.

High School - Girls

2022-2023 Information

  • Mondays 3:30 - 5 Hoffman Hoops Academy

  • Thursdays 7-9 Bellevue University

  • Practices subject to change

  • Registration fees are $450

  • Each family is responsible for soliciting a $100 sponsorship from a company or donor.  Only one sponsorship per family (not per player).  Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit we have the ability to lower registration costs through this process!  We have a sponsorship document that makes this quick and painless!

Girls age 18 and under can participate in our high school basketball program.  The program will compete at a high level, and varsity will be selected based on performance.  We primarily play other homeschool teams in the area. The season will run from November to the end of February

Travel Information

  • Varsity will travel overnight 2-4 times during the year. 

  • Families cover the expense of gas & hotels.

High School - Boys

2022-2023 Information

  • Mondays 5:15 - 7:15 Fusion Gym

  • Tuesdays 6 - 8 Bellevue University

  • Thursdays 6-8 Bellevue University

  • Registration fees are $450, along with a Jersey fee (roughly $50) that can be used for 2-3 years.

  • Each family is responsible for soliciting a $100 sponsorship from a company or donor.  Only one sponsorship per family (not per player).  Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit we have the ability to lower registration costs through this process!  We have a sponsorship document that makes this quick and painless!
