Lead Volleyball Coaches

Girls Varsity Head Coach
Ben Humann
Ben brings a wealth of coaching experience to this position, including 14 seasons coaching baseball from select through the high school levels. He has also been involved in basketball coaching at various levels, including three years as an assistant coach with the Roadrunners, where he proudly watched his son play four years of high school basketball. Importantly for our volleyball program, Ben has served as the Assistant Coach for the Girls Varsity team for three years and has been a dedicated member of the Roadrunners volleyball program since it got started up again. As a testament to his commitment, three of his daughters have also played in the program.
"I love sports because of the thrill of competition, but more so for the life lessons that can be learned both inside and outside the game. I competed in multiple sports in high school and played baseball through college, but have found that many coaching experiences with your team bring an even deeper satisfaction that is hard to explain. Helping young people deal with disappointment makes the accomplishments so much more meaningful." Ben's experience and values align perfectly with the Roadrunners’ mission and position him well as the Head Coach for our Varsity Girls.
