Welcome to Omaha Roadrunner Basketball! See our different offerings below! We are excited to have you be a part of the Roadrunner Family! Our team of coaches will be leading young men and women in the sport of basketball with a focus on “Running the narrow road".

Season Registration

Boys, ages 7 - 14 can participate in our grade school basketball program. The teams will compete in the CYO league.

Elementary teams are focused heavily on developing good habits that translate into great basketball players at the high school level. In Junior High, we have two teams to allow for a higher competition level and still serve new players who are learning the game. The season will run from November to the end of February.

Travel Information:

The grade school boys traditionally will attend the NCHC regionals for two nights. In 2025 the regional tournament will be in Lawrance Kansas.

An opportunity for families not ready to commit to an entire season, but who want to learn the game of basketball.

Fundamentals like shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense, followed by a scrimmage to learn the rules of basketball!

Practice Information:

1 day for 1 hour a week (you can come to multiple days if you would like).
Program runs for 8 weeks starting in mid-November and ending in mid-January. You will pick the session that you want to attend each day. If you miss a session, you can make it up at another time/location. We would prefer Mondays to be mostly girls, and Tuesdays to be mostly boys depending on your family's availability!

Daytime: TBD We will have one offering that will be during the day at Hoffman's Hoops Academy | 10815 S 204th Ave Cir, Gretna

Boys age 18 and under can participate in our high school basketball program. The program will compete at a high level, and varsity will be selected based on performance. We primarily play other homeschool teams in the region. The season will run from October to the end of February.

Travel Information:

One of the great experiences we get is traveling as a team and program. We encourage the entire family to come on trips, and we coordinate shared meals together. This creates a great environment and an investment into your entire family.

Varsity will travel 5-7 nights per season
Junior Varsity will travel 3-5 nights per season
Families cover the cost of gas & hotel

Details

Registration fees are $425
FREE Jersey for new players that can be used for 2-3 years. Varsity will have an additional $100 jersey.
We have a limited scholarship fund set up for families in need.

At the high school level, we do add extra practices to ensure we are prepared for upcoming games. No more than 3 in a given week.

Girls, ages 7 - 14 can participate in our grade school basketball program. The teams will compete in the CYO league.
